His career began at Bank Negara Malaysia before progressing through senior regional roles at CIMB, BNP Paribas, and Citibank, where he directed Shariah compliance frameworks across the Asia Pacific region. Leveraging strategic insight and regulatory diligence, he consistently drives the evolution of modern Islamic finance. He is instrumental in establishing Malaysia’s first Certification in Shariah Review and champions the development of future experts through academic and Executive/ Professional programs in Shariah Compliance, Risk Management and Audit, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to advancing integrity and expertise within the Islamic finance landscape.
