Dr Martin Leo is Chief Risk Officer at the National University of Singapore (NUS) where he oversees strategic and operational risks. With close to three decades of experience in the financial services industry, Dr Martin has a wealth of expertise in leadership, people and stakeholder management. Prior to joining NUS, he held regional risk leadership positions at major institutions including Citibank, ING, Morgan Stanley, and State Street Bank. In these roles, he enhanced risk governance and incorporated transformative practices to achieve risk identification and reduction. In addition to his corporate contributions, Dr Martin serves as an Adjunct Professor for Fintech at the SP Jain School of Global Management. He has a Doctorate (risk management and machine learning) and is a certified FRM and CISSP.
