Dr. Dharmasri Kumaratunge is a key figure driving Sri Lanka's digital transformation journey. As the Secretary of the Ministry of Technology, he spearheads national digitalization efforts, champions regulations for emerging technologies, and fosters a collaborative FinTech ecosystem. Prior to his current role, Dr. Kumaratunge served as Assistant Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, bringing over 31 years of experience in economic research, IT, and payments & settlements. He holds a PhD in Business Management and various IT and economics qualifications, solidifying his expertise in both technology and finance.
