Rei is currently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Equicom Savings Bank. He continuously drives the advancement of human-based and behavioral cybersecurity, and cyberpsychology through education, awareness, training, and research. Concurrently, he also provides data protection services, consulting, and advisory to various companies in the Equicom Group. He currently serves as Adjunct Faculty at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). He was also a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant at EY Global Delivery Services, serving clients globally in various sectors such as medical and healthcare, technology, media and entertainment, telecommunications, and advanced manufacturing. Rei was trained as a mental health and psychiatric nurse early on in his career in the National Center of Mental Health (NCMH). He earned his MBA and Master in Cybersecurity degrees from the Ateneo and AIM respectively. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Forensic Cyberpsychology at the Capitol Technology University to further build and share knowledge with the community.
